Continuous Improvement in the Romanian Electricity Distribution Branch

Energy is an essential logistical support of our modern society and it must be produced in every moment at a demanding level. Therefore, the quality of the electricity supply service and of the electricity distribution service has an essential role in electricity consumers` satisfaction. In this paper, the authors` purpose is to identify the factors that can bring changes to the electricity distribution branch, and also to make a comparison between the maturity model and the continuous improvement of the processes that can be associated with continuous change. Also, the authors propose a five-level maturity process that will allow an electrical energy distribution company to reach the continuous improvement stage.
